Kinze 12 row planter Owners!!! (1/64, that is)

Could you please measure the width/length of the planter? (the long part, not the narrow part)

There is some math to it whether a 6 bottom plow, disc, planter or pull type combine. Some websites use a resistence ft per lb formula but there are lots of cool formula graphs out there like the one I list below. The same website gives you information on how to justify equipment purchases, leases and sizes per your acreage/operation.

I need to know if a White 195 2wd can pull a Kinze 12 row 3600 planter. The White has around 165 Horsepower.

I also need to know the dimensions of the planter so I can see if it will look right.

it will pull it i pull a case ih 900 12 r 30 with a 2wd 8920 magnum with ease and the tractor is 155 pto hp handles our 30 ft case ih 5500 min till front fold drill


also nieghbor has a twinline 12/23 and his 7120 magnum (same hp) pulls his with power to spare

The White 195 has 187HP on the PTO. And 163HP on the drawbar. That tractor can easily pull a 12 row planter. That is a good size White. Add some duals and there you go. Even better if you put optional fwa and that will really pull.

I have one where I put duals and optional fwa.

165 HP will be plenty. Only problem may be hydraulics with older tractors. We use a 7110 on a 12 row white and used to use an 886 on a 12 row 800 IH corn planter. Even with hills it should work great. My uncle uses an MXM130 with his an it struggles a little with it but it works.
