Where did you get ahold of these ford cabovers? My neighbor had a cabover grain truck like this one and I would like to replicate it. I dont know the model number of these trucks. How close are they to 1/64? Where can I get one? Sorry to steal your pic but thats all I could find of em.  |

Looks like a model 800. My neighbor used to have three of them. My dad bought our local fire departments old one. Reall nice. I remember it saying "Tanker 150" Sold it about four months later. My dad said it shifted hard.

Ebay and they are hard to come by. They don't come up very often and when they do hold on, usually go for $40-60/each.
I've been trying to win one for a couple years now with no luck...

Clayton is right. They are hard to come by. Ive been fortunate enough to acquire three, they arent for sale though. I paid close to $40 for one and got lucky on another for about $18 and one was just the cab for $2.
These are made by Hartoy and are part of the America Highway Legneds series. I have snagged mine by searching "AHL Ford" on ebay. I havent seen one show up there for a long time though. They are a Ford C series (I think they range from a C600 to a C900). There is a new alternative from matchbox that is slightly smaller than the ones I have though. If you search "matchbox convoy 2011" on ebay you might find a couple. It comes with a belly dump trailer. I will have a post coing soon that is a comparison of the two brands so look for that over the next day or two.

If you searched 2 min quicker there was 3 of them on there, including a sale for just the Ford... lol
