This is something dad and I picked up over the summer. It is a Ferris lawn mower. It belong to a local lawn care contractor. Where he mowed yards with it. Well the little 18HP engine finally gave out. I can see why when it's power hydraulics plus a 61 inch deck. The engine was really too small for this mower. So he parked it. Well he came to us and said. You can have it for free. Just come and get it. So we went to find it.

We had trouble locating it in the weeds behind his sheds. So a worker of his helped us find it. This is what we saw.

Took the truck and dragged it out so we can load it up.

Loaded up on the trailer.

At the house ready to unload. This will give us something to play with later on.

Good news the deck isn't rotted out.

Yes it is. You have a foot pedal you push forward. Or use your heal and you will go backwards. The deck lifts up like most front mount mowers. I have a John Deere 725. And it has around 20HP. Even with a 54 inch deck and it being hydro. A good tough spot will even bog it down some. So I know a 18HP is way too small for it.

So it will go on it. Fix the fuel tank, and new seat. A good bath, and we will see what she got.

There kinda weird to drive since you sit in the way back. But ours would hall balls if you wanted to.. HAHAHAHA
