Well I was looking through my scrapbook tonight. I thought some of these pics woulds be neat to share. So I have been taking some pics with my digital camera so I could post them. I wish my scanner would work with our stupid vista. I am going to have to buy a new one. Stupid Vista. I have a lot of pics so I am planning on doing a series.
The first pic is me standing in front of the 70 gas. I was at the tractor pull at the Ellis county fair. It was about 8 years ago.
Here I am baling with the same tractor. This was prolly 9 or 10 years ago.
Here I am pushing some snow.
Here is my old A sitting in the shed that used to be where our shop is now.
I worked for my cousin the summer of 98 when I was in college. I was working the field across the road from our house and the fan clutch went out on the new 8770. It only had around 150 hours at the time. I was able to get the field finished and I parked at home for the night so I could take it to the dealer the next morning. I was working summer fallow with the 7x5 Flex Kings. I spent most of the summer in this bad boy.
Our town used to have cruise nights where people brought out their classic cars. Well a bunch of us decided to bring our tractors out. Boy did we ever pi$$ the cops off that night. The best part was we all made sure we had our smvs so there was nothing they could do about it.
Here are some pics of my friend Ben and I working summer fallow. Ben had his M Farmall and I had the 70 gas.
Here I am pulling the sweeps with the 70 gas.
I will finish the post off with pics of my 70 Diesel Standard. That is also the origin of my message board name. Here it is the day it came home. It had a really old box Farmhand on it. I had my mom take pics that day. I didn't realize she didn't take any pics of the whole tractor.
Makin smoke with my 70 D!!!
Well this is all for now. There will be more to come. I hope you enjoyed the pics as much as I enjoyed reminiscing while I posted them. I also have to thank my wife for making me a nice scrapbook of my tractor activities. Stay tuned there will be more to come.
