I recently got a hold of a ford LTS 8000 built by matchbox. It is darn close to 64th and is real close to a Ford LTS 8000. Only thing wrong is the wheel openings are too big and its a little boxy, not big fixes. Problem is, its an LTS. It has the moved back front axle. I have always wanted an LT. This casting could be turned into an LT but needs new fenders and most of a new hood. Doable though. Would people here rather have an LT over an LTS? Is it worth converting or is an LTS fine? I will be casting this as it has not been produced and I know there is a demand for these. Plus not casting my 2574 was a mistake. If you would buy one, would you rather have an LTS or an LT? What it is. LTS LT

LT looks better IMO so thats why my votes for I was recently advised by a guy to contact Greg at truckin little about my kenworths. Depending on how all of that turns out, you might want to contact him about doing these. Austin

well, IMO, the LTS just screams im a strong beefy farm truck, where the LT just looks like any other cement, flatbed, and dumptruck on the road with a ford badge. they look cheaper built, the LTS looks to be a little more luxery!!.....I see alot of really nice grain bodied straight trucks running around the country side that look very well kept up and clean!, but then again, its just my $0.02.....

Either one would be good. I love them both. I been around more of the L/LTs. And those are nice trucks. As a few farms in my area runs them. Granted they was more a regular truck with not much on luxury. But farm trucks really don't need luxury. Since you don't spend a lot of hours in them. At least ours didn't see many hours a day. Most time you would spend in a truck in my area. Would be 4 hours or so. Just to take your harvest to market.

Im suprised the LTS is as popular as it is. I think Ill just go with that and modify one of the castings later on if wanted. I could do both, but Id rather have the market cornered.

I kind of like the LTS. With the set back front axle it looks like it would be more maneuverable around the yard.
