Heard the CAT V8 wasnt the best to have. They need rebuilt sooner then a straight 6. Out of all the V8 diesels were the IHs.

The White 2-180 was their powerhouse for years for the White company. And one the last of the pure Whites. As later they sold to another company and became WFE. The later on to Agco for Agco-White. I think the fwa was a rare option on these. Most I saw don't have the fwa option. Still its a beast of a tractor.
I like Whites and always have. Ever since I rode in a 2-135 baling hay one time. What a sweet ride it was. There was a few running around here back in the day. But not much anymore. After Agco dropped White in 1999. Our local shut down. However in the process they took our Gleaner dealer with them. Which left our area starved for Gleaner support and parts. Which is not a good thing since for decades Gleaner was our top choice of combines in my area.

Looks pretty sweet! I love the old Whites also. A dairy farm up the road has 2-150 (or somewhere in there) with a cab and FWA. Gotta love the V8's too, IDK much about the Cat 3208's but I know uncle's Perkins 610ci V8 runs like its new (and its never been rebuilt, BTW)
