Which 830 is it? When someone says a John Deere 830 to me. The beast from the late 50s pops into my mind.

Those was built from 1958 to 1961. However some was built after that was was built in Mexico? I know the 730s was built up into the mid 1960s in the Mexican factory.
Not sure the going price. But I bet at least 5k or more. Depending on condition. Wheatlands are not common in my area so I'm not sure the average prices of these.
70DS might can shed more on the price range. Since he is a big 2 cylinder fan as well.

if its the one in the pic 5,000 would be about right with the factory weights and good tires and the paint looks pretty good

I would say 5 to 7 thousand depending on how straight it is and how it runs.

There was one in tractor house a while back that wasnt in great shape, but it was running, faded paint, no rust, bad tires. the dealer had it listed at 10k. I thought that was way too high. Then I found another one a few days later in the same shape for 8. so.... I would quess if its as good as the one in your picture Id say 7-9 maybe.
