the only belly bump i have ever been around was the one i used to pull it was an old 1975 beall one but the doors on it would let small gravel pass through around each end sometimes so i wouldnt think so but im no expert

nope...they arent made to hold such small diameter stuff...you would lose quite a bit goin down the road.

I agree. The ones I have been around would not hold grain. You could maybe do some work to make one hold grain, but I don't think it would be all that handy.

they could if you really wanted it to but you would lose money with it, it doesnt hold enough for one and you would lose a bunch of grain

Well if you had some 30 moisture corn it could be done, that stuff will plug up anything lol.
I dont think you would want to, I dont see why a farm would really need one. You can haul rock in a hopper bottom you just have to be gentle on the loading and only get good quality rock. Dad brought in all of the rock around the farm using our hopper bottom and it looks none the worse after it.
