Good to see someone's selling the good kind of seed. Not a bad looking warehouse. Trey

Thanks Trey. The warehouse does look good for being put up in the late 70s. I've been bugging dad to order a new sign for the loading dock but he hasn't done anything yet. We've painted the building about twice within the past 10 years.

Hahaha..... I take em out of the field.... i dont think u will be able to get the big 4x8 sign that pioner put in the corrner of our hay feild Naw I got alot of the smaller ones and signs of proboxes just for the heck of it. Look good hangin up. think I got bout 20 right now. no real reason as to why but half the time they are still out there in Dec. Thats just a pain in the butt to work around when they just leave em. Biggest sign I have is a 3x6 or so Conrad American sign from our largest bin in the row of them at the shop.

We usually put our signs out in July and August and pick them up the first week of September before harvest.

Nice pictures steiger! They are something I can relate to, here are a few of our warehouse... Been getting so many proboxes the past few years had to start putting them in the machine shed too, the combine is buried in behind there lol. Time to start delivering soon!

How many proboxes do you have? I estimated we have around 70-80 right now. Are you glad they stopped using "Jumbo" bags?

Cool pics, I wish my uncle had a building just for seed, all of the seed goes into the machine shed and the combine, truck, 1085, and the Fergusons get sat outside Sean

Sean, thats kinda what happens with us too... the 4850, 2 of our trucks, massey 265, and the planter always sit outside during the winter because our warehouse is full...
steiger, we sold about 7000 bags this year and about 50% of them are proboxes so I'm guessing we are right around 70 proboxes also. About the jumbo bags... YES! those things were a pain to haul and store. Had a truck driver tell dad once that they are like women, the longer you have them around the shorter and fatter they get lol.

I hated those Jumbo bags because they were dangerous unloading. Plus we had a few wild drivers that almost turned a few over. And Dallas, we put the signs in all of our fields. We also contact our customers and ask if they would like any. We usually put up around 4-5 signs a customer depending on their size and location. We like to put them by the highway because it's a waste to put them on a backroad that has no traffic.
Our warehouse is strictly a warehouse and stores no equipment. We built other machine sheds to store our equipment. Needless to say, if we ever stopped selling seed, we would have a 45'x80' building we have to find something to do with. We do use it as a makeshift shop if we rebuild our air drill.
The thing I hate about proboxes is you have to break them down before you return them. That's a lot of manual labor to break down 70 or more boxes a year. You have to take the lid off, take the top off, flip the top over and slide it down and put the lid back on.
