Mack R600

Here is my R600. Its an old Ertl cab and hood mounted on a DCP IH 9100 frame. It took some work to correct the cab,filled all the mounting tab holes,removed all the mold seams,corrected the rear window opening,reshaped the front edge of the roof at the corners. I added clear windows and a custom interior. It has single straight stainless exhaust. Modified Pete 379 mirrors(they are a very close match to the Mack ones),single antenna to the drivers mirror. The trailer is an old Ertl. I modified the rear suspension moved it all the way back. I built the landing gear,added lights to the rear. I will replace this trailer soon with one of the new Top Shelf Replicas Wilson trailer kits that are coming out in April. As always thanks for looking,comments and critics welcome...

you sir, have done it again!!, awsome build!, the new old timer wilson trailer will definitly enhance the beauty of that R-model. you need to get a chunk of faded asphalt to put your customs on, then you wouldnt be able to tell they werent real!!!! awsome job man!

Looks good! I like the livestock trailer with the wheels moved back. I think all of ertls trailers would look better that way.

That is one awesome Mack. I would love to see DCP do a series of Macks. I love those brand of trucks. One of my favorites.

thanks guys...and for what its worth, i have heard thru the grapevine that DCP and Mack will never team up on a line of trucks...DCP pissed them off way back when so Tonken and PEM got the rights to the Macks licensing. and my source is a very good one...
