I'm trying to take a dcp apart and pull together I'm trying to take the hood off the steer tire off and does the engine come out so i could paint the frame

yes it will come completely apart...if you are careful and take your time it will go back together easier.

some of it is held with screws,some with glue...its a pain to take one "completely" apart...patience is the key.

On the hood, the pins that hold that dude in there are pressed into the cast. I use a small knife to start working the pins out until I can grab them with a needle nose pliars. I re-pin with 3/32" brass rod. May need to take a small round file and make the holes slightly bigger for the rod. Works slick.

Another thing I have been doing is to drill out the back side of plastic parts where ever I can. Beats breaking them. Small drill bits are key.
