This is something I am working on for myself. Started out with an Ertl cab with a sleeper. Cut the sleeper off and made an insert. Going on a DCP frame then a 20' grain bed. Probably do a two tone paint job on the cab with bed to match. I took the chrome drivers off the DCP frame and put buds on. I will more than likely but a combine trailer behind it with a period looking combine.

Cool, I love LTL9000s, there is a local gravel pit that has like 3 of those in straight truck form. They all have like 20 foot gravel boxes. They are sweet!

That is going to be cool. There is a construction company here in town with a couple of those. They are a cool looking truck.

Nice work Eric...love them LTL 9000's. Been wantin to make a few myself. And i prefer the white buds on a workin truck too... I would like to find a good place to get Bud steering wheels. Drivers can be easier to come by but fronts are rare it seems.

LTL's are great. The lack of good front tires bugs me too. Nothing a little wider that isnt massive and nothing with a older style rim.
