looks good clayton i have not see many f those types i think the other version is a little more practical though...seems like you would put a lot more stress on the truck and the lift, and you can haul two with the other one oppossed to one lol

looks good clayton, although I think you need to either strip the cab and repaint or give another coat....looks like you give it 3 coats all at the same time!lol, loving the bed though, doing an awsome job on them!

That dang testors paint is a pain in the rear. It looks good until you flash it with a camera. I should have left the body black they it wouldn't show up. I painted it white then green. I thought that might work better. I was wrong. ;D I am not a pro painter by any means. I am glad Matchbox puts good paint jobs on their pickups so I can leave them alone. LOL

when usein the testors bull**** use multiple fog coat layers as in its gonna take atleast 4 coats in light layers (with that color) then it should be alright. i uise duplicolor rattle cans from autozone advanced auto parts or whatever u have near you, it is lacquer so u have to strip the paint off prior to useing it. it lays down real smooth i recommend it, however tamiya spray paint from hobby stores is really good for plastics. (lacquer makes plastic soft)

That was after several light coats. I think the flash made it look a lot worse than it really was. It looked good without the flash on it.

also ifu paint outside i know its kinda cold still or paint inside then take it in the sun after it dries you can see any potential problem, that and testors sucks lol

I use the basic testor colors (black, blue, yellow, orange, and red) and don't have a bit of trouble with those, but the white is just awful for me.

I really like my Krylon. I just used the testors because Ethan wanted it that color.

Ok, so you're talking about mainly metallic colors mainly, right? I may have to look at that brand when I make a model of my dads truck.

well duplicolor is made for auto touch up, nowadays not many cars are a solid color, they usually have some sort of metal flake or pearl. testors is really thick it almost acts like a powder coat it doesnt lay down nice and leaves a heck of an orage peel. now this might not be the case with everyone but this is the only thing i get when i use testors, so i speak from personal experience
