im pretty sure a 9750 can handle it but just wanted to make sure. 36 footer

:S Well, according to Deere's site, a 9770 can handle a 36fter, and since JD hasn't really done squat to their combines since the 10 series, I'd assume the 9750 can handle one also...
If, you are asking the question of whether it can or not, that is.

It should handle it ok. There is a farmer here that runs a 36 foot Mac Don on a 9600.

yeah it will be able to handle it, question is: do you need a 3rd cylinder and rear weights? answer would be.... yes

Not that I am aware of. As far as I know he just uses the 2 factory ones. He also doesn't run any extra weight on the rear end that I am aware of.

I looked that guys machine over this summer, and it doesnt have the third cylinder or any weights on the rear. He says it handles it really well, but he has fairly flat feilds.
