Nice setup. Our ground isn't even close to being that dry. We have to wait for the tile to stop running before we can plant.

We need a rain before we plant too much. I really hope the sand doesn't blow.....
Our planters are still in the shop. Dad won't plant an acre before April 15-20 because we've just been burnt by frost too many times to justify planting early.

you got that right. we have always run deere planters and we've been happy with them We had the "famous" 7200 that most people had. It was good but it wouldn't be near as good as the modern ones since it was made in the 80s. We've had good luck with Deere and White but not IH by any means.

We've had good luck with Deere and White but not IH by any means. we have a 7200 maxemerge plus planter. we used to have a 6 row, then we moved to an 8 row, and now since we got a bigger head on the combine, we had to get a bigger planter so we have a 12 row. so far we are happy with the deere planters.

we hav an 8row on a 3 point pulled by a 2011 7930 w/2 250 gallon cemical tanks

We upgraded from a 7000 8 row. That thing was a dinosaur.
