We did about 60 acres Wednesday and Thursday We stopped due to more rain coming. Which we could use some.

theres people plantin beans already? dang, things are movin fast in missouri, we farm in west central illinois (hancock and adams counties) and we just started to plant corn

Very Nice. Wish I could get in the 8650 and field finisher and work the daylights out of a few quarters like last year. Not alot of ground work this spring though. Trey

theres people plantin beans already? dang, things are movin fast in missouri, we farm in west central illinois (hancock and adams counties) and we just started to plant corn What town do you live in? I live about 10 miles west of the river. Seems like im in IL more than I am in MO. I have alot of friends who farm in the bottoms. Yeah Monte Burch is plantin beans. I read in succesful farming that you can get a yeild bump from planting beans early. But beans wont take a frost like corn will.

we have about 2,000 acres, my uncle's last name is schrader, kevin schrader, idk if you've ever heard of him. we arent really big farmers. we only farm crops, corn beans and wheat

Name strikes a bell but I dont really know him. So yall plant much lewis then since your right up there? hahaha You will have to stop by sometime and see the display. Im like 20 mins from Quincy. All our Deere equipment from Martins over there.

Nice pics Chris. That new planter looks like a beast. We won't start planting up here for a couple weeks, but as soon as the ground is dry from the skiff of snow we just had the strip tiller is going to be heading to the fields.

All our Deere equipment from Martins over there. yea we plant lots of lewis. i actually have detasseled for them the last 3 years, but im finally givin up that job this year, its probably the dirtiest job you can have. the lewis plant in ursa is probably 5 minutes from the farm. pretty neat opperation.
