Mowing season is here for North Carolina. Memorial day weekend is next week. And the grass is ready for mowing. Another season to mow is on us now.

I got out the Ford 4000. The New Holland 451 sickle mower is worn out on the sickles. So I got a new bar ready to roll. I will change over the old one with new teeth later.

Moved pitman arm into place. To pull out the bolt.

Slide the bar out, and slide the new one in. Well used bar but with new teeth.

Here I'm out mowing down the first field. It is thick from all the rains. And the darn wind blew it down. Making a tangled up mess. Good thing I got new teeth. The worn out ones would never cut through this tangle mess.
