Massey did indeed make a corn picker. From what I can tell the frame is the same one as the 510 combine. Gordy has the elusive brochure & it's scanned so I'll post it later today.

New Idea did... they were bought out by agco if I remember right... Case, The Uni system started out as a minnieapolis idea, then I'm not sure what happened but new idea ended up with it. When mm started you could get a baler corn picker combine n possibly other attachments. Then with new idea came the sprayer plant snow blower flail mower picker combine & chopper attachments. Eventually Byron started making a 2nd picking attachment and shortly after came the development of the Byron 8400 ag master which had higher capacity then the uni & Byron cleaning unit

All the scans are out of Gordy personal collection. The only piece he doesnt have is on the Byron 8420. MF Sweet Corn harvester Byron 501 on UNI [ Byron 601 on UNI [img src=" i2.photobucket.com/albums/y11/SynderViewDairy/scan0164.jpg"] Byron 8400 Agmaster Oxbo 8420XP Oxbo 8430 Newest version in a long line. Byron also made a 9400 which was a 8400 but using a larger engine/hydraulic system. It was mainly designed for use with pull type pea combines, larger heads. The 9400 was discontinued a while ago & Oxbo just released the 8435 which is a higher power & heavier duty 8430 strictly for use on seed corn farms.
