Does your grandpa not like running the auto steer on the kitty? His passes don't look too straight. Lol That's a nice planter. I bet she's fun to plant with. Trey

Most guys around here got away from planting soybeans. We all drill them in now. How does the 4850 handle the planter?

The challenger wont have auto steer in it till fall to put down ammonia and possibally fall work ground.
Here with our high soybean yeilds, drilling beans is a sin. Horribale seed placement and depth make for a not so great stand. We have pretty high bean yeilds here in the show me state (after all the world record was set and broken here...) and we get alot better yeilds planting them.
The 4650 handels it like a charm, after all it is turning 210 ponies and a tad over 5600 hours on it. Shes been babied her whole life and probably has another 40 years in her.
Yes we plant 15" rows with beans. It helps keep our spraying cost dow by canopying faster to drown out the weeds from sunlight.
