I need to post pics of us side dressing too. 28% or 32%? My dad has rented out less bars this year than he has in the past, alot of guys are buying there own, this year we used Raven on our Fast 8100 15 Row, and we love it dead on accurate!! My dads P&H 11 Row looks exactly like that
Still thinking about a NH? My cousin let me drive his dads TM135, its awesome.

Hoss, I hate to burst your bubble but, that tractor has been beat to sh*t. The IH's cab designed suck horribaly, the doors swing backwards wich makes climbing in and out hard, the seat placment so far forward you cant see the drawbar when backing up and the lever placement is very poorly laid out. The trannsmissions in all those 86 and 88 series are jerky and in winter if its cold they WILL not go into gear. It wont leave soon enough. Now I have no problem with the magnums because they used the CASE design.
Im putting down 32% at around 38 gallon an acre. We bought our own due to the fact of not being able to rent one when we needed it. Id love to control it with a raven but for 150-200 acres a year it isnt worth it. This is an SD series Blu-Jet

We have owned a side dresser for many years. I think we first got one when we got our 886 because we had a front hitch put on it to mount the toolbar. Side dressing is the way to go in our area. We've owned 4 different models over the past 30 years.

Couldnt agree more Chris, I never been a fan of the IH Cabs. But what do you mean by the CASE design, wasnt the cab based off the 88 Series? With the Case Silent Guardian cab glass..I knew that was based off the 70 90 and 94 series, and the intellegence center based off the 94 series

Nice pics, we don't side dress corn in my parts. Just spray it. Yeah I agree on IH cabs, they wasn't the best out there. All our IH farms ordered tractors with out them. They didn't want to bother with them. One farmer got a used 1466, after a season with a cab. That winter he converted to Rops/Canopy. Where all the Deere guys was buying cabs after the Soundguard came out. You rarely saw a 30-55 series with out a cab of any size.

There are few 88 and 86 series tractors around here. The ones that still use them never upgrade equipment. My uncle sold his 5488 before I was born (I was born in 93) but still has his 4440. That ought to tell you something.

There was almost always an 06 to 86 series tractor in the shop with some kind of rear end or transmission problems. I got pretty good at putting t/a's in. The worst part is you have to take the cab off of a 66 series to basically do anything too them.
