I think it is odd the only place in Sask I have ever seen or heard or anyone with a two track tractor (JD or Cat) is south of the #1 highway. ...not sure what you southerners like about them that nobody else does. :-P

Ya, I'm not sure why that is either. Can't be that much better. I remember back when the Cat 45 and 65's were showing up (early 90's), the story's were that you could pull more with less horsepower if you had tracks. Don't know if that's proven or not. One local guy has a "weighted up" 9630T pulling a 85' drill and 700 bu Bourgault tank. They farm some awfully hilly land, I can't see how it would be better than tires. I'd be wanting big metric triples to yank that rig up and over a hill but maybe that's just me. They tried a Quad trac for one spring back about 5-6 years ago, but have stuck with Deere's ever since. Couple Cat's out there but not many.
