After seeing the past Belarus thread and how many guys got a kick out of it, I had to post this. These were from a Auction sale this past spring in Morse, Sk. Can't believe he had (and used) one of em let alone both a combine and a tractor. At least he also had a JD 4430 as well. I don't really get the front duals only thing, but hey if your farming with Belarus equipment, your already marching to your own drum so what does it matter. Don 1500

There's a farmer up the road form here that uses 2 or 3 Belarus tractors. Last time I drove by on Sunday he was using one on a drill planting and there was one at the farm hooked to a 5btm plow.

I don't knock the guys for choosing something out of the mainstream. My question for them is "what was it that sold you on a Belarus"? That's more of interest to me than anything. Was it $$ alone?

Theres a guy over on the Combine Forums that has a big Belarus. It's pretty sweet. Trey

Up front cost yeah, repairs later is what I question. Interesting tire setup on that tractor, never seen duals up front and singles on the back before. I've seen the opposite a few times but never that before.

Looks like a fairly modern looking Belarus. The duals on the front appear to be narrower than the inside drive tires. I'm guessing that the duals are used to keep the front end from sinking. The DON 1500 is suppose to be a pretty good capacity combine in its time. They made a pretty hard push in the early 90's.
