Few pictures from my recent travels

hey guys thought id share a couple pics I took while ive been out and about recently.

first is a JD walker that was at the auction this month. First time ive seen one out there so had to take a pic.



this is a 4010 a guy i bought alfalfa from this time pulled his hay wagon with. Very nice tractor 80% restored so far.



We recently had the annual fly-in at the farm which is an event for crop dusting clients and local farmers to come and see equipment of ours and get an idea of operations this year. I was in a training seminar all day with a guy from agrismart learning their new software so didnt get many pics. Here are a few though.













Here was a Steiger panther i found in a field while I was going to pick up a rollback on saturday bout 30 miles from my house. Steigers are rare to see around here so this was a treat and a VERY nice one at that!







These last 2 I took today coming home from riding the quad. Ive not seen a new R series deere at the dealer yet but found this 8335R at Wrights imp in crawfordsville today while i was passing through.



I then snapped this versatile since I dont get to see many of them. it was the second one Ive seen today though! both east bound on interstate 74 one on the way one coming back.

Great pics. That 4010 is a sharp looking tractor. Always wished dad had hung on to his. I agree on that Pete's paint job, very cool!! Good to see the big Versatile's still heading south, even without the backing of NH. Personally I'm glad they've rid of the blue paint, and back in red. Would like to try one out one of these years. One of my uncles bought one not long ago and seems to like it.

The farm has owned that 352 since it was new. only has 79k miles on it. Id have to get the story again but the farm had the biggest privatly owned grain storage system and largest grain truck south of US 40 in Indiana. Ill get the artical next time im in.

Very nice pics. I am loving the cab over Pete. That steiger is pretty cool too. I am starting to see some of those versatiles once in a while. There is a NH dealership south of here that is selling the new Versatiles now too. They had a new T9 sitting right next to a new Versatile a while back.

The cab over is one of the very few that I actually think look good.

You really need to head down to south west kansas, never seen so many new versatiles before.

We have a crapton of verseys around here... Cheap Horsepower.... That cabover Pete is sharp! We had a Cabover Kdub that was brown and tan. Got rid of it 10 years ago, it had no power steering or any of the "luxurys" that the petes have so noone wanted any part of it.
