Official Combine Cruise Part 2

We counted 4 different crews waiting on dry wheat at the Dighton Fairgrounds. Hard to get a good pic of just how much iron was there. Impressive.

Awesome pics. There sure are a lot of custom cutters down in that country. We see a lot go through but there aren't that many that work in this area. Most guys cut their own wheat unless they have combine trouble.

Sure do enjoy seeing all the different combines in your area, I especially like all the Gleaners you have around there, looks kinda like around here!

Hoffman and Olsen were at Dighton. The dark blue trucks are Hoffman and red are Olsen. Olsen also had trucks in Scott City with combines. Olsen has many machines and the crews split up.

The Gleaners were weird this year, just happened on them. They were always there, able to see them finally.

Cool to see Hoffman's. They have a section in the High Plains Journal that I read. Very Interesting crew.

I think they are some of his rental combines. Last i remember his trucks were red.

I have seen several of those Olson custom farms rental machines come through town in the last few weeks.

We need to meet up and talk shop some time. Most folks don't understand this psychosis. According to there website they have 30 machines. www.olsencustomfarms.com/

they have quite a few machines but only take a handfull on there harvest the rest get rented out to harvesters or farmers. It is pretty amazing that somebody can do that tho. And on the site i just looked over it said they run around 50 combines and the others get rented. On another side not the red service body in the pic i think is the we made it could be the other red one though.
