Anyone who has ever sat inside a steel shop knows how loud they are in a storm 5.8" and 2.5 hours later this is what we get Culvert must be plugged.... This means a mess when it dries... This corner always floods it seems. Culvert is working fine, well sort of except no one ever put one from the left to the right, just one going under the main road Come visit Hoxie Implement and take a swim while you browse our selection of used equipment Its full Left side of road... .... right side of road. Look the golf course has a full water hazard now!!!! Neighbors circle corner/lake Storm is backing up.... Dam wasnt tall enough Thats all for now Austin

Holy crap. When did you guys catch all of that rain? That looked like a heck of a storm. Cant remember the day however it was the same day that Oakley got slammed with the massive hail storm. That storm went through in the morning, another small shower at lunch, then we got hammered starting around 5:30. It was a monday but not sure what week.

Reminds me of us this spring. Our tile runs have finally stopped running. Is your ground wet or is it pretty much well drained?

Reminds me of us this spring. Our tile runs have finally stopped running. Is your ground wet or is it pretty much well drained? Majority of the ground is dry, Terraces and lagoons are still wet which is to be expected but everything else is dry. Never got anything stuck during harvest but we tried to avoid the mud as much as possible. Its hard to no-till into ruts, as said we wont be no-tilling the neighbors fields next year as his custom cutter plowed through most of the mud, then left town and asked us to finish the rest... I wish we could tile the terraces and some of the lagoons, wouldnt take much to get them to drain good and would really make life easier during a wet year. Could probably pay for it in one year with the extra crops grown in the lagoons.
