Im about a month late but here goes. Our harvest started the 24th of June and ended the 4th of July. Our crew consisted of a 9650sts with a 28ft stripper header, 8200 with Brent 672 grain cart, and KW with hopper trailer. Yields were pretty pitiful. With no winter moisture, extreme winter colds around -40, and a late freeze no one had much hope. Dryland around the area averaged about 15bpa and irrigated was 50bpa. Enough moping though, on to the pics. Unfortunately my wife could only come take pics when I was cutting our worst field but she made it look decent. Seems we are always racing the rain!! Hardly any dust with the stripper head My favorite pic Unloading Really cool pic along the header while unloading I spent quite a bit of time helping my friend with their harvest. They had a Gleaner R62 with 32ft stripper, 8870 with Brent 772 grain cart, and a pair of semis, plus my 9650. The sad part is about half an hour after my wife left this field all kind of combines moved into the area. Widners had their 10 9x70s on a section a mile away, Tryees had their 4 9510s on a section and Blains had their 5 Gleaner R62 close by. It made for an entertaining afternoon. All together my friend and I cut 3500ac in 8 days of cutting. It would have went faster but that Gleaner couldn't stay in the field. I think they broke at least 5 or 6 different belts. Next year they are talking about going green!

Great pictures, too bad you guys couldn't have had a better wheat crop.
Your friends combine is actually an R65. How on earth did he break so many belts?? We have never ever had a belt break in harvest. We usually change about one before we start every harvest to eliminate the chance of one breaking but 5 in one year is alot, 5 in one harvest there may be something wrong here.. Im guessing they weren't in too good of shape to begin with.

Clayton- all summer we have been getting teased with 2 tenths hare and there but finally we got half inch one day and about 2 week ago we got anywhere from half to 2in which was amazing. But thats the way alot of the rains around this area have been, where it rains they get alot but 2 miles away there isnt hardly a sprinkle. Thankfully we have had the best mountain runoff anyone can remember.
Husker- Thnaks Im not too good with Gleaner numbers. They couldnt figure out the belt problem either. The really weird thing is their combine had only about 1000hrs on it and mine has about 3000hrs and I only had a blown hyd line and that was because a chain wore through it.
