Wow!! I've seen a couple of your 359's on Hanks Truck Pictures. How hard is it to convert a 379 into a 359?

First off, sorry the pics. are so large, that's never happened before!
Thanks for the comments, so far I'm on my third 359. The next will have the real pre-Unibilt two door bunk, twin air breathers, and a stock style airfoil.
The hardest part is getting the same amount off the frame and hood so there is no gap when the hood meets the cab. And the frame has to be square as it was before you cut it. I take a section out before the cab so it still screws in at the stock DCP mount. So converting a 379 to a 359 could take up two or three hours, minus all other work.

Thanks, flat on a gloss frame is the opposite of the norm, so it works on a custom rig!

I know this is a late comment but the 359 is on of my favorites second to a Pete cabover. The way they were built and designed back then were amazing. Wish I had that truck you made but are you aware that dcp is coming out with their very own 359 late this fall. But I still love the truck and wish I could have it in the exact style you made that one.
