Someone asked me to see my Traction Kings. Well I'm happy to show them off. I like this brand of tractors. So I got a few in my collection. 1470: This is the standard Ertl they did. 2470: This is the tan version Toy Farmer did And the White version 2870 I got this from Matsen a few years ago 4690 This also came from Matsen. I added tires from the 2470. Which I thought helped out the looks. 4894 This is another Matsen. Also added tires from a 2470.

Looks awesome. My favorite is the 4894 and the 2870. Not a fan of the short stubby pipe tho. Haha, let me know if you ever decide to sell them someday lol thanks for sharing!!!!!

Matsen still sells them. They are little expensive. But if you want that tractor a OEM toy maker hadn't made yet. This is what you have to get.
I still like to see Ertl do the 2670. I will add that one as well.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you just re-decal a 2470 into a 2670. I'm pretty sure they are the same physical size just different hp. Does Matsen sell tractors just as a kit or do they come finnished?

Yes Matsen does offer them as kits. Where it is cheaper, and you can build them yourselves. This was something they added this past year. Since its been over a year since I bought all my stuff from them.

I agree with Steelin theres really no point in making a 2670. i would like to see a 2870, 4490, and or any 94 series 4wds

I used to see quite a few of the Traction Kings working rice fields in the Texas Coastal Bend.

Yep only the 2470 and 1470 is Ertl. The rest came from Matsen. However I put tires from the 2470 on them. I thought it helped out on their looks. Than the tires they did have.

do the Matsen one's have a hitch on the back like the 2470? I have been looking at the kits and I can't really tell if they do or not so if you could let me know that would be awesome.
