I like building tandems so here a few. I used to put swinging rock rock type end gates on them. I have moved away from that and use a silage gate. Simple to make a better looking IMO. purple one is basically done. silver needs a front grill off another truck that is in the mail then it is done 70DS inspired me so the silver cabs will be a chopping crew. I think silver beds and black silage racks. The Ford will go in a harvest crew of New Hollands. Planning a blue bed on this one. The Pete, who knows. Probably a white bed. There is a black and white 385 that needs a frame that is in the mail. It will get the silage treatment. White bed and black racks is my plan. Another view A truck I traded with 70DS, look a little different? Cab insert, and shaved the fifth wheel area to level it up.

Those are some sharp looking trucks, I've always loved the looks of the Fords with a box on them. Did you make the cab insert or can you buy them somewhere?

Very nice. That cab inserts looks really good. That chopping crew is going to be sweet. I bet the New Holland one looks cool. That old Ford is a mean looking rig.

Not cheap for plastic pieces but I like the look. Thanks for the kudos. Paint on the purple one is barely OK. On side is goofier than a pet coon but oh well. It is Plumb Crazy Purple anyway.

One way you can get around buying a cab insert, is just to put a peice of clear styrene over the opening left in the cab. most guys up here just use plexi-glass, instead of buying the proper panel for the back of the cab when they take off a sleeper to put on a box.

Nice work. Any pics with the tail gates open? I'm assuming they dont have hoists? How much to make one or two for a customer?
