This will cover the truck of the set. I got the set for them both. As I can use them both on displays when I do a CIH one. Plus a newer truck is good to have as well. As even trucks get worn out or you need a 2nd one. The new dodge looks very nice. Love the hood detail and other features. The grill looks nice. in all its a nice truck with some good detailing. However I did see a few things. The hood is hard to open. You can barely see under the hood. Big gap behind the rear seat in the cab. The bed isn't black like the older truck. Lack of headlights and rear lights detailing. In all the older Dodge that came out a few years ago. Is a much better truck on detailing. So they took a few steps back on this one. The 2 side by side for comparison. Before I put this to possible display. I will be painting the some brake lights on it. I'm sure DOT will love seeing this. Gives them a good reason to pull you over. For improper brake lights.

The brake lights are clear with red bulbs. Spencer That could been fixed on the toy, by a decal. With silver around red dots for bulbs. I looked at the Rams on their site. They had regular brake/back up lights. So they could done this as well. I'm going to paint mine to match the ones on the site. So it will at least past DOT for road use. www.ramtrucks.com/en/2012/ram_2500_3500/

Would this model of Dodge be comparable to a Ford F-250? EVK Same size truck. Both are a 3/4 ton. Dodge uses the same numbers as GM. So its a 2500, where Ford does their F250s.

notice the bed isnt a true 8ft either its somewhere like 7.3ft or so... Yep that is true. They used the frame from the Dodge that came out a few years ago. And thus it don't fit well together. There is a gap in the cab and interior as well due to the wrong frame. They cut a few corners on this one to save money. And it shows. Still its a nice truck. I fixed the taillights since these pics. Painted some proper brake lights on it. So it would be highway safe.

Man, why do they always come out with red. I have the older one in black. Came with a horse trailer. I did have it in that dark blue color. That was one of my favorites. Until it got torn up.
