I will be making my first trip to Dyersville for the show Saturday. Any advice as to where to start, good shopping places (I am looking for a few custom items), and places to park etc...
I'm pretty excited and looking forward to a great day. To bad I have a budget while there.
Thanks ahead of time for any advice.

One thing that I was not expecting the first time I went was all the tents set up outside. Lots of stuff outside as well as inside the museum, school, and commercial club park. If you can take two days. Commercial club park is located towards downtown, it's a bit hard to find. Go to the Ertl outlet store and they have the preview of new models there.

I like to get there as early as possible. The show opens at 9, if you have floor rights you can get in at 8.
