Old Whitey.

My friend Ben has been wanting me to make a 1/64 version of the pickup he used to drive. It was named old Whitey. It's color was actually desert sand. But old Desert Sandy didn't roll of the tongue as well. ;D My Dad called it flop fender because it was so rusty. You had to keep you foot over the hole in the floor when you were in the mud so it didn't cover you. ;D His Grandpa bought it new in 1973. Ben was the second owner. He started driving it in high school. He was slowly rebuilding it and it was his daily driver. Then in May of 2002 he rolled it. That was the end of old Whitey.

Great job on that one Clayton. Always sad when something like that happened. My buddys sister rolled her truck last fall on the way to school. Nice truck now its totaled. How did he roll it?

I wish we could find the tires like where on the real pick-up. I could find some good uses for them like you could.

No joke. I need a good source of tires. The best thing I have found so far are the collect and play pickups.
