They have a Buhler where my Dad works. It seems like a really good auger. We have a bunch of Fetrls at the coop where I work. They are trash. They breakdown a lot and parts availability can be a problem.

We have a 13"x70' buhler. Great auger never had a problem. I would check out Sakundiak too. heard they have a new 14" "swing max" auger.

Never been a fan of the Buhler's myself other than maybe their price. That being said I haven't been around the newer models. I'm mostly remembering the Farm King labeled era. I think there's a Westeel branded auger out there that's just a rebadged/painted Buhler-Farm King as well.
From my own experience I'd suggest looking into Sakundiak if you have a dealer down there for them. Seem to be a little heavier duty with better bearings, chains, fliting, etc... Westfield I'm sure is still as good an auger as they ever have been too. Sure seems to be a lot around in some areas (not my own though).

Around here Westfield is the brand of choice. Nearly every farm has them or did at one point. They are very popular in my area.

Guys around here run either Mayrath's or Westfield's mostly, though there ain't much of grain. The farmer I work for has an 8x56 Westfield and it is an extremely good/hard-working piece.

I'd say Westfield, we've had our 62-10 swing auger for the last 8 years and haven't had one problem. It helps that they're made under an hour away me and there are dealers everywhere.

Didn't buhler buy out feterl? yup, at a farm show i told the buhler farm rep that they look like repainted feterls, and he pointed at the decal that said "Feterl" we just bought a 13' westfield this fall, man can it eat corn, we also have a 04' 10" x 72' mayrath, its a good auger too, but we already went thru both gear boxes that run the swing out. The westfield is built WAY more HD.
