Well, you would have better luck just re-painting a JD 7720. Because Scratch-Cast ones will cost you an arm and a leg.

If you want the best most accurate 860 and you have the money Scratch is the only way to go. They are awesome. I have a good friend that has one. But by the time you buy the combine and heads you will be in the 350 dollar range. I wouldn't waste a dollar on a 7720 that somebody painted red. They are not accurate and frankly they look stupid in my opinion. The bodies are similar but not close enough to not look stupid if you know your combines at all.

I agree with Clayton on this. You really want it to look right. You will pay a price. I did when I got my L2 from them. Since then I doubt I will spend that kind of money again for a combine.
I wouldn't pay much for a Deere painted up as a Massey. Plus it don't even look right. About like how I saw some paint a John Deere 95 as a Gleaner. Even then that isn't right.
Best thing is to wait it out. Perhaps one day they will make one OEM from a toy maker and that will be affordable to buy it. Until they wake up one day and see there is a demand then we will have it. Lately most OEMs are mainly after "current" stuff. Which most of that I don't really care for.

Scatch Cast does an amazing job and even though the price is steep they do an amazing job! I am still wondering about ordering an L2 Gleaner from them but at this time the price is what is holding me back.... Maybe at Dyerville next year I will bring one home but we will see.
As for the MF 860, Scatch Casts is the best no question asked, the Matson one is a poor excuse for a MF as there are noticable changes between the MF 860 & 7720 Deere. Good try on Matsons part but I would pay more for a more accurate custom. Just my 2 cents though.
