The extensions on the 8820 look a tad excessive

magnum- we had a 6 row before, and the duals would sometimes hit the outside rows of corn, so thats why we got an 8 row. I see your in southwest MN also. we bought that combine in Worthington from the JD dealer there. They had a 7720 with the same extension sitting next to it. I guess there is a company down there that makes them, to be honest i wish it didnt have that big of a hopper, we've never filled it full, we only go to about where it normally would be full with out the extension.

yes thats the same problem as qw have with are 6 row head and we made some deflectors that whent from the head to behind the duals and last year we made a round and a half with that corn head and exstion iam from jackson were are you at

That 8820 has got to eat corn with a 6 row. We ran 12 rows on ours when we had them. Trey

Nice pics. Glad to hear from you. Wondered what you have been up to. ha, yeah i haven't really had the time to post on this board or jason's. I started working for wells fargo in their crop insurance. I needed to do something with my degree, besides farm ;D
