The row units on how it picks. Is all I can tell. I never saw a stripper up close to see how they really compare. We only run pickers.

magnum their alot different machines to do about the same job a stripper pulls the cotton and the burrs off the stalk a picker gets the cotton and leaves the burrs on the stalk
Austin i run 2 to 4 mph depending on the cotton
the cotton yall see planted in the circle rows made 3.25 bales per acre this year but i had some that didnt make but 1.67 bales per acre this year was hot, dry, no rain and the wind blew ALOT!!! i started the irrigation in early may pre watering and didnt turn it off till september 14 man i glad this year is almost over

Where is Wellington, Tex. at? Judging by the low trees, & the color of soil, it must be west of Waco a long ways. I'll sure be glad to get this calendar year behind me, myself. Out here in Central Texas, Hays County, up & down Hwy 35, we didn't get any rain either. EVK
