Hi, I am about finished fixing up this Massey 44 that was childhood toy for me, which I believe came from a neighbor originally. There are no markings on it whatsoever, and I can't find an image of an identical one on the net. Anyone know who made this tractor? I'd also like to know if there was supposed to be something in the holes through the side. Thanks Bruce

According to the farm toy catalog, it was made in the 50's by Lincoln and it's 1/20 scale. It just shows a Massey Harris decal over the holes.

Hey Thanks Robertsfarms! I have the Massey Harris decals but didn't feel right about putting them over the holes, guess I will now if that is how it came.
I did find a similar unit (without the holes) that sold on ebay after my post and it had different front tires, but the back ones are the same - Firestones. Looks like the insides of the wheels were painted yellow on it, but I am not sure it had not been redone at one time.
Would like to find more appropriate front ribbed tires at some point too.
Thanks

I think I would put a little wooden dowel in each hole, & repaint that part. I like that tractor.
