Nice pics. What kind of super b's are those? Kinda look like our older Load Kings. How did the canola yield?

wow you must have had a really good oats crop judging by the size of those swaths... 80bu/acre I'm guessing. Glad to see we're not the only ones swathing everything, and we have that exact same Co-op Implements cultivator! Great pics.

May I ask, what is the purpose of swathing then harvesting it? What were you harvesting, it looked like black or red balls-seeds and thanx for the awesome pics.

Austin Grall: they swath the crop because in oats and canola, the plant is very suseptable to shattering and is hard to get the entire crop evenly matured/dried. They swath to protect against wind/shattering and to let the maturity levels even out. And that was canola, small black/brown oil filled seeds.

Dallas those are old lode king trailers, the canola didn't do that great in 20-30bu. Gmauch we used the semis to haul to the elevator, so when the semis were gone we would fill the tandems up and then load the semis up when they got back. ManitobanFarmerKid our oats yeilded in between 80-110bu,the elevator we were hauling to said we had the best oats around this year. that co-op deeptilling does the best job out of all our deeptillers. Ihman we love our 1680's we want to get a 4th one, they are very reliable. Johndeere9430 yup this year we put a new U/C on it,yes we pull a scraper with it, a cat no.60, my uncle does lots of sub divisons with it. Austin pretty much what ManitobanFarmerKid said Quin those 1680's should look even sharper if we could find more hopper toppers

They are good, except when you get into dry, hard, corn fields. We ripped the entire hitch off the main frame when we hit a hard spot. But other than those extreme cases, it is one of the better ones we have owned as well.

we still run our 760, this year it was down waiting for new rub bars for a couple weeks, we don't run it in beans anymore because if we bend more rub bars it will take forever to get new ones, we hope to replace it with a 1680 or 1688.
yeah that was a versatile well ford versatile 946, we are looking at upgrading to a Caseih stx425 because the 946 needs new rubber and that will cost close to 18,000$

Thanks for sharing. Is this canola going to be used for Canola Oil? Or are there other uses for it?

We are in Manitoba, Canada about 20min southeast of Winnipeg. It will most likley end up being made into cooking oil, i'm not sure but i think it can be made into biofuel

It will also be made into canola meal (livestock feed) either way.
