Harvest 2011- Big Sky Country (Montana)PIC HEAVY

Well I'm starting to get caught up here ;D This will probably be the last album for 2011 since I was in school for Canada harvest. I may surprise you guys tho
We ducked out of the crew in Colorado and wen't up to a lake in Montana. Our friends that cut around us, that have showed up in the past albums go there too. So here is a couple of pics of that.
There is a river near the lake. We stopped there and took some pics.

Our crews second dog Marc (huskergleaner's) neighbour in Nebraska give us this dog. He was trying to get rid of them. We didn't want or need another one. But it wen't home with a employee.

When we where helping our friend's out on a job the farmer had his swather parked. Broke lol. 40 foot head...... Not very good.

Haha it didn't look like fun because it was fairly short and Montana is famous for rocks. And actually my camera works good... I had it on close up a lot of times by accident. Or I was taking pics through the window. And I'm not a pro at it lol. My camera is a NIKON and I got it in 2010 so I'm gonna hold off for another couple years lol

Looks like fun, I don't miss being away from home that long but I do kinda miss 4+ months of harvesting...

Little picture taking tip, NEVER (ever) use your digital zoom. All it does is ruin a picture. Just go to your max optical zoom then crop the picture if you want to "zoom" in more.

Digital zoom just makes the pixels bigger and your quality goes to crap. I wish cameras wouldn't even come with digital zoom to be honest.

Looks like fun. Wish I could actually do that for a season, but, probably never will. And, I love the dog, it just adds the best to it in my opinion. And, hopefully ya had some fun with the season. Wish I could operate some of the stuff.

Thanks guys. And Clayton I will keep that in mind. Thanks. As you know on harvest from when you did it, You are driving around trying to take pictures. Next time I'm trying to take a good one I will remember that. And syrenen, I didn't mind coal, the older dog. But the other one was only a few weeks old. To young to be away from his mother. And it's just something to try not to hurt lol.

I've taken some of my best pictures at 80mph.

Well top 50 anyway... but when you can take upwards of 5,000 pictures in a year thats still saying something.

It wasn't posted by dallas. It was posted in that "Grain Carts" thread by the one of the guys that either runs the rig or is part of his harvesting setup. Believe it or not but they had three identical Red avalanches but the other two were pulled by 300hp plus steigers

It was me.... I have a "cheap account" It was a 8100 with a 1000 bu avalanche, 350 steiger with 1000 bu avalanche, and a 485 with 1100 bu avalanche. I put it on there.
I quit using it when it got stupid with drama. A user made me mad. And it wouldn't show the threads I've read. It didn't bother me really tho.

Someone made a comment saying I bet that 8100 puts up a fight with that cart I think.

Lol. I tryed posting pics from your area but somethings messed with my photobucket. It will post some pics but not others. What's the dogs name? Jadie is in a kennel right now I think. The owner has a full time job and can't keep hold of here.
