John Deere had a German combine maker to make these for them. They built them for a few years during the later 80s. To replace the John Deere 4420 combine. It was targeted for the small farmer who didn't want a combine the size of the 9400. And ended in failure and the quit selling them. Mainly due to they was a pain to work on and major issues getting parts. This is what I know of them.

John Deere built that themselves in their own combine plant in Germany. It's a machine built for the European market that they shipped over here to replace the 4420. It's true that they didn't sell very well here.

That farmer took really great care of that JD 4435 combine, however they were not a really popular combine in North America, always breaking down and Parts were pretty expensive to have shipped in from Germany. I know they offered the "4435" for a few years along side the "9400" Deere combine, and most guys not wanting the 9500 or 9600, but wanted a smaller sized machine just moved into the "9400" combine, at least that is how it went about up here in my area.

There have been a couple in my area over the past few years. I heard they were not very reliable, and hard to get parts for.
