I would check the John Deere site. deere.com Look for the specs there. Or go to your local dealer or one close and pic up a flyer. They should have them.

You could also check what Fastline, Tractorhouse and places like those have and see what they got.

Thx guys. I tried John Deere website but they only have the newer headers. I'm after the older ones like the 214 belt pick up. I was just on tractor house and found some info, enough to get me going on it atleast. Have to try Fastline. The farmer that live close to me has a JD 7720 with a 214 pickup but he is a real jerk, putting it mildly.

Where are you from? We had a older pick up a few years ago. The number rings a bell. I could probably find some pics of it.
If you need any. Dallas

I would have to do some digging around. I'm sure it was one. I know it was older because we had a rental combine of olsons and a new pick up head was to much money for the fall and we liked the old ones better.

I agree with that too. The new pickups are too high tech now. We got an old Massey 510 combine with a pickup and man can that thing go. The only problem with it is it has hard time picking swaths up off of high stubble.

IMO the case isn't that bad yet. Macdon still makes them no? I can't remember. Deere has got the castor wheels to cluttered up. Case is moving to that too. Why? Ive heard it first hand from a person high up in case that said because Deere has it. They have to compete.
Hopefully they will come up with a simplified head Dallas

The guy I work for has one on his JD9660 combine. I really like it except that sometimes the shield that keeps the swath on the pickup gets caught and bends it.
