Honestly, I'm a case guy, but I can't wait to get my hands on the new s series jd combines. They look pretty sweet and sound awesome after reading a bit of information on them.

I wonder if they fixed the auger. Where you can unload into something other than dumping it on the ground.

Southern- No, they didn't change the auger just the same one that the Deere combines have always had. I saw it at the Ertl showroom at Nationals, and wasn't all that impressed with the combine. Landon

Landon I was hoping they would fix it before it hit production. Since the prototype don't swing right. The last 2 combine series was fixed and it swing upwards. To allow dumping into stuff. To me this is a big let down since the combine has so much detail. And now you have to drill to correct it on a new model. Specially one that costs almost double than usual. I will wait to see what the released will look like. So far I doubt I will buy it. I'm not really impressed with the even the real one.

I will be getting one, possibly another for a pr*j**t. Honestly it's nice that they will be detailed but I wish it wasn't so plasticy.

I noticed the last couple of harvesters are getting too much plastic for the bodies. And paying even more than the regular ones with metal. I really don't see why since metal is more costly. Granted the axles steer and stuff. But to make the body out of plastic too? They are getting rid of one of the main reasons why I get these toys. Is due to die-cast, not plastic.

I'm glad Ertl made a few changes to it. Either way I can't wait to get it.
