Looks Good! I have both models on my list to pick up at the dealers once they arrive in Canada.... Normally the local Dealers don't get the new stuff until 3 or 4 months after they are released in the US. Don't really understand it, but I am looking forward to getting both models.

Go figure that they both have quality control issues. How does the header fit? Does it stay up when you lift it or does it fold over like the one at the national show? I was not impressed by the prototype model at all.

Go figure that they both have quality control issues. Seems to be a common trend with the last new Ertl items I've gotten. Seems like each one I buy needs some minor tweak to make it look right...loose wheels, bent casting, hitch bent , just a few of the problems. The joys of mass production :-)

Go figure that they both have quality control issues. How does the header fit? Does it stay up when you lift it or does it fold over like the one at the national show? I was not impressed by the prototype model at all. Clayton, I picked up the 1/64th S690 this morning from the local Deere Dealer, they got theirs in Yesturday and earlier then expected. I did put the 640 Draper head on my S690, and YES the Draper head Stays up when lifted. The Head DOES NOT fold over like the prototype at the NFTS. I was glad to see Ertl fixed this problem. Not sure what the other 64th S690's are like, but my Draper head on my S690 stays up perfectly with no issues at all! Biggest change I liked, was that the Authentic S690's unloading auger actually clears grain carts a lot better then the 9870STS. Their is definately a significant angle to the unloading auger on the S690. Jason B
