My Work truck

INDOT Truck 62323. It's a Internatioal 7400 WorkStar. Detroit Power, with 6 Speed Automatic Tranny. I luv driving these trucks. \

Looks like a nice truck. Kdot pretty much runs all tandem axles on there plow trucks.

We have 3...Sterling, Freightliner (which has been wrecked i'm told) and one like this one, but with a MaxxForce10 Engine...I won't drive it cause it's 20 4-lane truck only. I run 2 lane plow routes.

IA DOT runs International's like yours. Also have a few S1900's too. My dad bought a old DOT truck back around 1997. 1983 IH 2554, with a DT466.
Automatic tranny? thats too easy!

INDOT use to auction off old equipment but found they made more money by scraping. Yes it is an 6-speed Automatic, i can select which gear i want it to run in. very nice truck, air ride, FM Radio for lonely nights plowing. lol.I got night shift, Midnight to Noon.

Nice looking International, I used to run a 7400. I am a truck driver for a local township road dept. I was running a 03 7400 with a DTE 466, 6 speed trans with 2 speed rear end. I switched jobs now I'm in an 01 GMC C8500 with a Cat and a 5 speed and 2 speed rear.
I miss my International.

I have been told change is coming. we got several KW's coming into service and have been told the single axles maybe Phased out and replaced with tandem axles with under bodies. that would be SWEET!!!

You can't see it real well, but on the left side of the photo is a Freightliner M2 Dump truck. Well, that is now part my truck as well. I co-drive that truck. It is a tandem, with Air Ride, Rounded dump bed. really nice truck, Cummions Diesel, needs a little more getty-up tho. lol

Will get a better picture of it Monday, if it is out of the shop. Driver side Window stopped working Thursday.

Nice truck! PennDOT runs mostly Oshkosh and Internationals. The township runs models like S1900's and a few more.

Got 2 new 2012 KW coming to our unit...unfortunately they are going to our Shipshe unit. They have yet to learn how to clean a truck of salt. Shouldn't take long for them rust out. Still hoping to get the Freightliner this winter, have to run the 7400 thru inspection Monday. Looking like i may be in that truck again, sure hope not.
