Chrome tip.

Here is the chrome exhaust tip I made for my brother's pickup last week. He has a 01 Dodge with a cummins and a Superchip D-box. It runs pretty good. Plus the chrome tip had to add at least 5 horsepower. ;D ;D I think it looks pretty good for a free tip. Plus all we have for a welder is an old Lincoln A/C buzz box stick welder. I used it to build the whole exhaust system on my old a79 Chevy. I made it out of a chunk of semi stack that we had left over at work.

that chrome is some tuff stuff to weld. you did a good job. looks sharp and the way its position you cant even see the bead. great work clayton.

Thanks guys. We also put some high temp black paint on the weld to cover it up a little and to keep it from rusting. The chrome piece was easier to weld to than that darn stainless exhaust pipe. Stainless is kind of tough to weld.
