Got the MX245 and heavy harrow out on some alfalfa ground. Folded up and ready to roll. And away we go! Tank came along for the ride.

Nice. I don't let my big dog in the tractor as she gets bored and chews on things. And I don't want her chewing on the nav controller lol.

Two tone- he was getting annoyed because it was too roughy to sleep.

If you do that or roller-harrow it like we do it breaks the crowns on the plant and makes it spread out which leads to thicker better hay. We roller-harrowed ours last week when we planted our barley and its already green.

Clayton- it takes that long just to unfold it. Lol
Johndeere- what two tone said also we follow this with a float and the combo does great at smoothing up fields and controlling mustard weed

We have never noticed any damage. We are actually really happy with how the hay regrows.

That's a very sharp harrow. How does one of those "heavy harrows" compare to like a Martens of a Mcfarlene? Do you incorporate a lot of manure with that? Trey

Not very often do we incorporate manure because we do not graze any cattle but we do have a couple landlords that graze horses and we incorporate that. Flexi Coil seems to be alot heavier than than those others. Its a pretty good pull with 225hp.

Damage to the crown is great for hay. It makes it spread out, grow faster and make better hay. You ever disked a crappy field of hay and then got a good rain on it? You will have a better looking stand than you did before by a long shot
