What other tillage will you do before planting?
Also, it seems like a 22 ft disk is a little small for the power you have in that tractor. Around here, we use up to 28 ft disks behind jd 7800s. Of course, that could be explained by soil type and depth the disk is run, just wondering why the disk was not 30+ ft.

It was only a 10 acre field that we were planting oats on anyway. So, we just hit it twice with the disk then again with the soil finisher then drilled oats into it. We don't normally do that much before planting corn or beans. We usually just hit bean stubble or ripped ground with the field cultivator or soil finisher before planting.
The reason for the smaller disk is that we used to be pulling it with a JD 4650 and we have some fairly good sized hills to deal with. And, we almost always get all of our ripping done so it doesn't even get used that much. And the other thing is that it is DMI built so it is a good load for any tractor, of course the 9250 didn't have any trouble with it.

Looks good, still looks a little wet, as I see a little caking on the wheels but not bad to bad, when do you plant on putting corn in?

If you had a rolling packer behind it I would say just drill oats right into it

They say if we start now and have to replant that there might not be enough corn because of the poor seedcorn crop last year. I went out today to peek around at the other fields, not a wet spot to be found and the soil temperature was at 60 degree's. I suppose we might start in a couple of weeks. Landon
