Bunch of stuff been done, but never carry the camera. Always forget. So limited pics today. Moved the 8360R over to the planter and I've been strip-tilling for a week or so. Putting on 13.5 gallons per acre of 28%. Strip-tilled throughout satruday facingg 2 different tornados. I finally gave up the fight around 8 at night and dang near ran into one coming home. Macksville got bummed up while several farmsteads are level. Some of you might know of Knight Feeding and Sellers Feedlot out of Lyons, both places were demolished. Here's our small bit of damage. We are very lucky for this season so far. Usually is worse. I also hauled 25 loads of corn out of the place to Barton County Feeders. Gotta haul 20 more loads to the Ethanol Plant. Trey

Nice pics Trey, sorry to hear bout the weather, hope and pray things straighten out down there!
One question, seeing as how their are 2.98 units of N in a gallon of 28%, multiply that by 13.5 and you're putting just over 40 units of N on. When and how do the last 150-180 units of N get applied?

We are putting around 5 gallons on with the sprayer during post-plant burn down. The planter will put on 10-15 gallons V-Rate to get where we want at planting. Fertigate the rest on Via sprinkler. Trey

Ah I see, I guess I never thought of putting it on with the sprinkler, I suppose you'd be stretching the rest out throughout the growing season. Do you ever put chemicals through the sprinkler?

We chemigate quite often if we have any issues past tassle or around that timing. It's a very common proccess. Trey
