Planting corn in Central Iowa

I thought this was kinda cool, there were 3 Steigers and 4 Magnums all working within about 2 miles of each other, this is only a few of them.

Thanks for the comment. Yea our tractors don't sit around for looks lol. I said wrong, There were actually 5 mangums, 7120, 7130, 7140, 7220 and a 7250. And the Steigers were a 9250, 9260 and 9370.

So what kinda acres/hr would you cover with that outfit typically? and how often are you filling the planter?

We can get about 15 acres/hr with the planter and tractor. It depends how many bags of corn we put in, a bag of corn goes for about 2.29 acres. We usually put in 12 bags and refill, if we have a bigger field we will put in 24 bags to save us time later.
