The hell? First thing I would do is take the fenders off so you can set it to turn tighter

You should be pretty happy with it. Our 8410 is a really nice tractor and if your short on power don't be afraid to turn it up. The 8410's were rated at like 215 factory I think, ours is at 270 and a neighbors is at 300 so if your short you know where to get it lol. Nice looking tractor. Does anybody know did the 8310's have the same engine as the 8410's??

That 8.1 is a all around bullet proof motor. Our 95 has the 7.6 and they make a little more noise than the 8.1

But the 8.1 is the better motor IMO
